inTOUCH 21.5 to 27 On-Screen Display (OSD)

Connect your inTouch 215 – 270 using a USB-C cable (Alternatively USB-C to USB-A and a HDMI cable) and power up the screen. Follow the instructions below, the process is delicate and requires quick typing when changing the settings in the monitor.


1 Open your device manager and make note of the Prolific COMx port for your connection.


2. Launch “MS Monitor System Tool (v1.130)”

Note – Exception when launching application, please ignore if shown

 

 

3. Check the COM port noted from the “Device Manager”, COM9 in this example.

4. Set the Chipset to “TSUMxxC Series”


5. Connect to the Display

 

6. Open “View” menu and select “Direct Command Mode”


7. Switch to Advanced Mode in the “Direct Command Window”


8. Change “Command Select Mode” to “Test Command with No Header”

 

9. You are now ready to send 2 bytes of HEX code in the “Data Edit” field.


10. You have to quickly while the selected menu is active change the codes and press send.

FULL OSD MENU
 
68 73 – Opens the OSD menu
68 72 – Move up
68 74 – Move down
68 73 – Select / Ok
68 74 – Move left
68 72 – Move right
 68 63 – Exit

BRIGHTNESS
 
68 72 – Opens the Brightness menu, if you hit enter again you will increase the brightness
 68 74 – Opens the Brightness menu, backspace and quickly change the 2 to 4 and press enter to lower the brightness

VOLUME
 
68 74 – Opens the Volume menu, if you hit enter again you will increase the volume
 68 72 – Opens the Volume menu, backspace and quickly change the 4 to 2 and press enter to lower the volume

POWER ON/OFF
 
68 76 – Toggles power off / on
